Vanilla ice cream | ||
2 cups | berries (fresh or frozen) | |
2 cups | fresh strawberries | |
1 tsp | vanilla extract | |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
Slice strawberries and set aside.
For the sauce, let the berries thaw slightly (if you need to be quick, just use the microwave).
Add vanilla extract and lemon juice.
Puree the berries with a food processor or blender and pass the mixture through a sieve.
Arrange two to three scoops of vanilla ice cream on each plate and garnish with the sauce and the strawberry slices.
